Tenerife part 9: We hit Tenerife’s National Park to climb some big routes, figuring we’d look cool doing it. Spoiler: not quite. 😅 🏔️ Permits? Check. Perfect wall? Yup. Brain cells? Debatable. Puk led an epic climb but tapped out 3 meters from the top, wiped. So he tossed the rope to Stijn… and that’s where it got spicy. 😵‍💫 ⚠️ Plot twist: Stijn’s never lead climbed or touched an anchor, but why let that stop him? He went for it, veered off-route, and ended up 6 meters past the last bolt, dangling with no chill way down. 💀 Options: 1️⃣ Backtrack (sketchy as hell) 2️⃣ BASE jump and pray (dumb even for us) 3️⃣ Fish for the chain with slings and a carabiner (our least bad idea) What started as a casual climb turned into us MacGyvering our way out of a mess, fueled by panic and dumb luck.
