Ground Zero" Project. Our project seeks to promote international cooperation of kantele players. We promote internationalization and popularization of kantele music worldwide by means of intercultural synthesis. We play Finnish, Russian and Karelian folk music, as well as contemporary compositions. We also try to introduce kantele into foreign cultures (North America and Far East) by using kantele as accompaniment for traditional cultural performances (i.e. dance) in recipient countries.
