Demon's Crest. Walkthrough.

My first walkthrough. I have a lot of history with this game, it was one of the first games that convinced me the medium could have enhanced and interesting story lines with deeper outlines and iconography/symbolism. From that standpoint, the asymmetrical storytelling and almost Metroidvania style gameplay feels superior to quite honestly many games of this sort at the time and even today; the game is simple to understand, yet unlike many Metroidvania style titles, it has a fully sandbox world alongside deep boss fights and level design that to my eyes, kills any comparisons to the awfully paced but stylish and fun Castlevania Symphony Of The Night. Much akin to Super Metroid as well, this game is immediately relate-able as it is relatively easy to find were to go and how to do things. So unlike Super Metroid, you won't get that annoying "hidden wall + massive backtracking" that pervades much of Metroid games if they're not 3D that is. Personally, I'm a huge advocate of this title as a must play Super Nintendo game; highly unpopular to this day much akin the 3D successor it received in style and feel (the Legacy Of Kain series is an almost 3D replication of the Demon's Crest and Gargoyle's Quest games), Demon's Crest is by far one of my favorite games ever made, and one that has aged beautifully compared to so many other titles were memorization is a chore and demanded from the player and were there is simply no real substance to be had as it becomes a repetitive mess of a game.
