The Minnesota Commercial keeps getting new locomotives, and its newest one is a former ESPN unit! While it first arrived on the property back in February of 2024, it wasn't until July that is made a trip on the Belt Job. This former Southern Pacific unit was HARD at work, and we'll see it working in run 8! We'll start off on the north end of New Brighton, and get some neat close up views of the former ESPN unit. ESPN stands for East Penn Railways. After getting a brief history of this locomotive, we'll see it working New Brighton on the Belt Job. After doing some switching, we'll chase it south, hear it working hard in run 8, and watch it pull a HEAVY train into the Commercials home yard.
