Sonia was thrilled to visit her birthplace of Tzaneen in Limpopo, the town where she spent the first six years of her life. Our first stop was our accommodation in Letsitele, where we checked in before taking a drive through the beautiful, small farming community. From there, we continued to Tzaneen, exploring many of the places Sonia remembered, including her school and the church where she was christened. We attempted to find her childhood home, but without success. Visiting Tzaneen was a wonderful experience, especially hearing Sonia’s childhood stories. The town remains as captivating as ever. Letsitele was also a charming place, and we truly enjoyed exploring both towns.
