For evidentiary and other purposes we recorded and are now posting our exchange with the individual who stole approximately 1500.00 of metal from our shooting range and gun store. As mentioned in the video, the purpose of the video IS NOT TO SHAME OR HUMILIATE Llyod. The intent is to serve as evidence should future prosecution be necessary and to provide him with a tool of accountability as he works through his recovery. I want to personally thank the greater New Orleans and St Bernard Parish Community who came forth with a mountain of information that lead to the identity and eventual confession of this individual. As a community we can help protect each other from those who pray on our safety, security, and property. NEVER hesitate to come forward with information regarding the criminal behavior of people. That is NOT snitching. THAT is showing integrity and honor. We need to hold those who victimize us and our neighbors accountable. Silence is what allows them to continue to victimize others. From child molestation to domestic violence and theft to drug dealing, the community holds the power to stop crime, but we have to speak up. "I don't want to get involved" makes you part of the problem, not the solution. I consulted with multiple peers and clergy, including those who have worked in the substance abuse recovery field, and they all agree we are doing all that we can to assist Llyod and hold him accountable and assist him in his recovery. He is a twice convicted felon and this conviction which is guaranteed considering the evidence and confessions) would put him in prison for the rest of his life. He understands this is his last chance at redemption for him, his family, and especially his grand children. We wish Llyod Braud the absolute best in his difficult journey of recovery and will honor our agreement to hold him 100% legally accountable should he falter. http://www.nolatac.com http://www.nolatacforum.com / nolatac / nolatac / stbisc
