Goombario is a goomba. He's the 1st partner you find in Paper Mario 64. Scoring works as follows. Required bosses and mini bosses if they can be defeated without needing any kind of unreactable luck to be involved (like if you can't max out Kooper's Dizzy Shell or something like Parakarry's Air Lift), they give a full point. Can be a chapter boss, mini boss, or Jr. Troopa. They're either way important fights. Exceptions are the Koopa Bros since they technically are 2 bosses in 1 so they're 1.5 points and Bowser which counts for 2. Optional bosses or mini bosses like the bloopers, buzzar, and the Dojo fighters are worth half a point. Certain bosses though like Kent C. or the Anti Guy Unit are 1.5 points because they're imo really hard to beat. Call em special. And then forced encounters with fights that have nothing but regular enemies are all just worth 0.25 points. If they can't be beaten guaranteed without unreactable luck, they award nothing.
