Hey, Charles here. Thanks for checking out this DPS parse on a BiS DK based build, with a subclass in Nightblade and Arcanist. But you have more burst, more st (if you can play it properly), more aoe, more trash, more sustain, more pen, more crit-dmg and your spammable heals you (a lot), soooo... Both are greath tho, and if they give a good passive to pure DK though in the upcoming patch, it could become even better. △ About the build itself : 🔥 Ardent Flame is the main damage tool, Lash does very good damage now as spammable and has passive damage buff + is AoE + heals you (balanced). Claw also does really high dmg per cast and FoO is now fully AoE. 🦑 Herald is there for the Flail damage buff, and the passive stats. Nothing new here. 🩸 Assassination is just good to have, bringing you a much needed execute and another semi-spammable who also heals you. You can use KB safely, you can cast it 15+ times safely on this setup with the pots and the synergies in raid, and no execute should be that long. 🌠 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝑰 𝒖𝒔𝒆? Shifting standard is the new goto for AoE/if you start a fight with more than 150 ults, then spam Incaps. You can use standard the whole way if you are in an AoE fight, but I don't think it's better than Thrive in Chaos. You can do a funny tech in Trash by casting it, then recast it on the next pack to move it to your new location and basically do 2 packs with 1 ult. 🏮 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑫𝑲/𝑫𝑲/𝑵𝑩? I think it's very close, however this spec is better. Higher burst with lash, big AoE damage w/ it (insane in trash). Just overall better stats (slightly higher crit dmg, more pen, more spelldmg, more dmg done). This parse is also with parsefood which reduces the damage a bit, compared to the other spec. So in raid with stagger, same food and both knifes/ultgen, you should do more ST & more AoE. Again it's very close tho, and the Earthen spec is way easier to play, so if you struggle with the rotation, you will get higher base damage with it. 💪 𝑪𝒂𝒏 𝑰 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒕 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂? Yes, in raid where you will want to swap to the Stamina Morph of the NB bow, you will be easely able to sustain both stam and mag spec, as long as your team provides you with minor intellect and synergies. 🌪️ Optimised Trash setup ➤ https://is.gd/TrashU49 🪆 Z'en version of the build (166k) ➤    • Dragon Arc Blade Zen Build | U49 166k parse   ============= Setups 🗿 ============= 🦍 Race : Dark Elf (Same as High Elf - Khajiit outperforms in Solo/4 Man) 🗿 Mundus : Thief 🫆 Main Class : Dragonknight (mandatory) ❤️ Attributes : 0 Health / 0 Stamina / 64 Magicka 🍲 Food : Magicka parse good (max mag + magicka recovery) 🍾 Potions : Essence of Heroism 🧬 𝐂𝐌𝐗 𝐃𝐦𝐠 & 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨 (with the all the build/CP) : https://imgur.com/a/zDCXIXa 🌀 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 : Pre-cast Scholarship & Incenerate ➤ Trap ➤ Shifting standard ➤ Dread ➤ Stampede ➤ Merciless Proc ➤ Lash ➤ other dots & spam. In raid you can squeeze an Hail/rune easely, before your trap, like I do here. I did Flail/Trap backbar to test it, but I felt litteraly no difference when having Claw frontbar, so feel free to adapt the bars to your raid group, in case you need more Pen etc.. ⌛️ 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 : Merciless proc ➤ 3x Dread ➤ Claw ➤ Incinerate ➤ Stampede ➤ Scholarship ➤ Trap ➤ Lash ➤ Runeblade In raid, don't forget to recast your first Runeblade around 10s after flailing, to keep the crit buff up, and the second one when your Lash stacks are consumed.
