It finally happened! I managed to get myself into the world of King's Field. Previously I did burn a CD for the classic KF1,2,3 for my modded PSX. But I didn't know what I was doing and the CD couldn't be read anyway and had bugs. And it was a very unknown game to easily get used to. Much later, in a local store I see a copy of King's Field 4 for PS2. A bit expensive for those rare titles but still something not too high I could afford. So I bought it. And I started playing on my real PS2 and finished it. Then I played again. I got used to it and just absolutely love it's interconnected world, atmosphere and all kinds of things you can learn and do each playthrough. It's like a proto dark-souls and it's the early minimalistic 3D dungeon crawlers that really give me the vibes. So come a bit later, I decided to do a stream on this game. I downloaded the latest PCSX2 then realized it required a BIOS. I decided to dumb my PS2 bios with FreeMcBoot and a USB (although wouldn't any bios work on the emulator? I don't know, but they suggested you dumb the actual BIOS for legitimacy). And managed to setup the emulator with the right settings (still some polygon bugs here and there) and controller. The aspect ration is different so the video is squared but ok. I just wanted to show the game and have commentary on what I learned and what amazed me. Now I am really hooked and think I can get into the original KF's on PS1. But I think I'll finish this one in multiple parts.
