Lambing live at Lower Drayton Farm!

During our Lambs & Ewe event, which runs each year from February Half Term till the end of the Easter break as part of our PLAY@ farm attraction ticket, most visitors hope to see the miracle of new life being born on the farm. We can’t guarantee everyone will get to see lambs being born firsthand, but we were lucky to capture the experience in this video. Not every ewe needs help giving birth - many have their lambs without any intervention - but, as with human mums and babies, sometimes a little help is required from the farmer to ensure the safety of both the ewes and their lambs - especially where twin and triplet lambs are being delivered.
