I’ve been living in Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Germany for years now, but I just found out about the Summer Serenades aka "concert in the park" at Max Reger Park. Since there's so much to do in my small town of Weiden, I decided to start sharing some more local vlogs about how I spend my summer in Germany and what you can do in the city (even when it's super hot outside!) Every Wednesday at 7pm and Sunday at 4pm from mid June to early August, Weiden in der Oberpfalz hosts all types of bands on the grass of Max Reger Park. For about 2hrs, the bands play all types of music including folk, classic rock, oldies, swing, latin, funk, and pop. You can also buy cold drinks, including my favorite local beer Gambrinus (  / gambrinus  . Afterwards, I recommend strolling through the park or walking downtown where you'll find everyone else eating, drinking, and enjoying the cooler weather after the sun goes down.
