We inquired with the 3 known companies, U Haul U Pack and Pods, and compared its prices. U Haul by far has an affordable price of the 3 and it is even cheaper for 2 containers vs the other 2. We have a one bedroom apartment so we decided to have 2 containers just to be sure. We have some furniture , almost 20 boxes medium and large, 2 beds, and a couch. We were worried that the couch wont fit but it turns out it's just the right size. We paid around $2800 plus. First payment was during delivering the containers. Then the mileage, so price depends on how many miles it will be delivered. And last payment after the delivery to your new address. I think one downside of it is that you need to call a lot, with the customer service and any movers if you need one. You need to verify it to the moving company since U Haul won't communicate with them. Another drawback is that expect delays esp if there is bad weather along the way but they will refund you $50 per day if it will be delivered late. It was a 5 day delay for us but the good thing is that we were not in a rush to use our things because we stayed first with our parents apartment. We didn't use any moving labor to unload the containers since our apartment is just in the ground floor. We used Shoulder Dolly and a wagon to move things one by one. Unlike when we load our things , we used a moving labor since we were in the 2nd floor. So far, we didn't regret using Uhaul Ubox even withthe delay.
