Ah, hey... 10 years later version of Evvie here. I remember the times when I really loved Dream Theater. It all started with my friend recommending them and because I loved him, I had to love DT as well, right... oh to be young and in love, haha. So I became a DT fan and it lasted for some years... and this video happened. It was back when I was all up to recording covers. And I know exactly when I started to slowly leave this genre. I started to love singing more than playing guitar and as I was set to enjoy the top of the particular area, suddenly Alicia Keys and Beyoncé were the top of the art of singing for me. So I changed tremendously, however, my love and passion for music in general were still the same. I stayed loyal to czech singer-songwriters the whole life though, no matter what was the main genre I listened to. During the years, I posted some other covers and I deleted them a few years later. But couple of them stayed here, on my yb channel, because I decided to respect my journey of getting better and learning from mistakes. Even though I could play and record much better versions of the covers now, it doesn't matter. Otherwise I would never leave anything published. And most importantly, I got bored by it. I started to write my own music, as I was always doing, but more seriously. But again, since 2013, my songwriting transformed so many times that I can't even count it.. and as you know, stuff happens.. anyway, that's a long story. So, today, I consider myself a pop/folk singer-songwriter with a hint of soul and rnb.. but what do I know! I'm just me.. (finally). And what is my opinion when I watch this video after so many years and obvious transformation? Well, I'm still glad I did that.. and even though I don't see the musicians that play in this video at all now, I still want to thank them for this contribution and also for respecting such young troubled girl I was back then, so thank you. 12. 3. 2021 Evvie
