(20 Aug 1962) In the border town Gubin on Order a celebration for the twelfth anniversary of the Polish German Frontier Treaty, which was signed in 1950 at Zgorzelec, took place. It was then that the frontier between Poland and the German Democratic Replublic has been established definitely and finally. Delegations from both countries came here to remember once again the international importance of that fact. The opening of the Wilheim Pieck Museum was part of the the celebration. It was here where the first President of the German Democratic Replublic spent his childhood and the early year of his youth.
