📍Dandong, China-North Korea Border We decided to hitchhike from Dandong, China, on the border with North Korea, to Dalian—over 200 miles away, a journey that should take around 4 hours by car. It sounded like a solid plan, but things didn’t exactly go smoothly. We managed to catch one ride early on, but then ended up completely stranded on a dusty path in the middle of nowhere. With the North Korean border just behind us and no traffic in sight, the journey quickly turned into something we didn’t quite expect. Do we make it to Dalian, or are we left out in the sticks?
