How can they believe in one they’ve not yet heard of? And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it? And how can the message be proclaimed if messengers have yet to be sent? Are we not all these messengers to be sent? We believe that the sharing of the Gospel is a fundamental part of everyone’s walk of faith, but so often it has been presented as something reserved for an elite task force or in ways we rarely identify with. With Steiger we have seen a movement of young believers stepping out in faith to bring the gospel to the streets using these 3 principles: Creativity Through dance, music, art and creative ice breakers, we open up deep conversations on the meaning of life, the search for purpose, mental illness and what is true freedom and Love. Community And as a community we step out together, having each other's back because alone we go fast but together we go far. We pray for one another, complement each other's giftings and capacity and support each other through hard conversations. Holy Spirit lead risks Through the empowering of the holy spirit we take risks. We preach the cross openly, and seek his voice to know what and how he wants to speak and act in specific conversations and situations. It’s not our words and our own capacities that bring change. It is through the working of the Holy Spirit that people are drawn to his presence! So our burden is light and our yoke is easy as it is Jesus that saves. Are you willing to step out in Faith and see the impossible happen? Ask God who he has placed in your life to be doing this with, and then Go!
