High Speed Acura Integra Chase Ends in Crash After 130 MPH Run From CHP

On February 20, 2025, a California Highway Patrol officer attempted a traffic stop on an Acura speeding at 90 miles per hour on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita, California. When the officer activated his lights, the driver refused to pull over, launching a dangerous high-speed police chase down Highway 14 the Antelope Valley Freeway. The suspect accelerated to 130+ mph, recklessly weaving through traffic and putting drivers at extreme risk. The entire pursuit was captured on CHP dashcam video, showing the Acura fleeing at reckless speeds as the officer worked to keep up. The Acura exited the highway onto Sand Canyon Road and crashed into the guardrail, wrecking and disabling the car. The CHP officer, trying to keep up with the suspect, also hit the guardrail and crashed.
