The delay first started when there was a power fault early in the morning. Later that day , the signal also had a fault , which has caused a 30minutes interval between each train. Because of the Signal Fault , only 1 train is allowed to proceed to Habourfront from Outram Park. That particular train had to travel back to Outram Park before the train queuing at the Habourfront bound platform could depart and travel to Habourfront station This video shows the train, 7039/7040 , passing through a red signal to enter habourfront station in restricted manual(RM). The train doors did not open immediately after reaching the platform as the CSO(Customer Service Officer) was asking for permission to open the train doors in RM mode.
