Like AJH Synth's Contour Generators, it is based on the circuitry from the Minimoog Model D synthesizer, so it shares the envelope behaviour of this classic monosynth, but greatly expands upon it. At it's core is a full Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release envelope, but also a Delay and Hold function, re-trigger mode, slow speed function, and an inverted output with jumper-selectable behaviour. The Delay/Hold function can be used in conjuction with other envelope generators to create complex envelopes, or used alone with it's re-trigger function to become a looping envelope, or an LFO with sculpted wave shapes.
