Lost Frontier is an Advance Wars-like for Android/IOS by Mika Mobile, featuring turn-based strategy combat in a Weird West setting. This is a max-rank playthrough of the game as John McGraw, the infantry specialist. McGraw's level for this mission was 22. Ghoul Hordes are introduced in this chapter. Ghoul Hordes are gimmicky units that always attack at the same strength, regardless of their current health. This makes it fairly dangerous to attack them head-on; their counterattacks are quite dangerous. Statistically, Ghoul Hordes have similar defenses to a Posse, but lower firepower and movement. Like all Graveyard units, they are especially vulnerable to Slayers. There were a lot of fairly silly mistakes made in this playthrough of the mission, but the casualty and turn requirements are fairly lenient. The player is attacked from three sides on this map, but have one turn to prepare for the attacks on the east and west, and two turns to prepare for the attack from the north. Place both Rifleman and Cannon in the east to get a free kill on the second turn. Focus on capturing the buildings until the west and north are under attack; blockade the west and north once the attack begins in earnest. Avoid engaging the Ghoul Hordes at close range; it is often better to simply have units stand in front of them, allowing them to absorb more hits. Use Cannons, Riflemen, and air units to poke away at the hordes. The enemy Biplane is best taken down with a Gatling Gun or a Biplane. The enemy cannot field additional air units, so a Gatling Gun tends to be the more efficient choice, as it can still be used to damage the Hordes (though Cannons are significantly more cost-efficient at the job).
