Kalyanotsava of Sri Rajagopala Rukmini Satyabhama | Sri Brahmotsava 2024 | ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill

As part of the Sri Brahmotsava at ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill, Vasanthapura, an auspicious marriage festival (Kalyanotsava) is conducted for the utsava murtis of Sri Sri Rajagopala Rukmini Satyabhama. The Lord and His consorts are eternally united, descending from the spiritual world to perform lilas (pastimes) to help us revive our forgotten eternal relationship with Them. During the festival, devotees joyfully divide into two groups —one representing the brides' families and the other representing the groom's family— and participate in the lively marriage rituals accompanied by Harinama Sankirtana. About Sri Brahmotsava 2024 ISKCON Bangalore is celebrating the annual Sri Brahmotsava festival at ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill, Vasanthapura, from 19 to 21 June 2024. This festival commemorates the auspicious appearance of the presiding Deities on the Vaikuntha Hill - Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Jagannatha Baladeva Subhadra, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda, Sri Rajalakshmi Padmavathi, Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, Sri Sudarshana Narasimha and Srila Prabhupada. Since 2013, numerous devotees have been offering services to Their Lordships on the Vaikuntha Hill and receiving Their divine blessings. The Brahmotsava festivities, spanning 3 days, feature elaborate abhisheka ceremonies for all Deities, the magnificent Maha Pallakki utsava, the divine kalyanotsava, and other significant, sacred rituals.
