(Complete play-through) Planet of Lana | Wishfully Studios / Thunderful Publishing | Windows | 2023

As a whole package, Wishfully Studios did an awesome job with Planet of Lana. The art direction, musical score, sound design are all top notch. For sure, there are puzzle platformers out there with more interesting gameplay, but I found that with everything else, I really didn't care. This is one of those games that's just great to spend some time with, appreciating it for what it is. Takeshi Furukawa had absolutely no right to do this great of a job with the original score. His music does so much heavy lifting narratively. The two idées fixes are used so intelligently to really hammer home the necessary narrative emotion.
