Hey there! Thanks for taking a look. I’m a full-time video editor for TV and have started creating game trailers professionally as well. This video was created as a proof of concept, and I’m very hopeful to see some of these ideas in an official release one day. If you’re in need of a trailer for your game, don’t hesitate to reach out. 😃 I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I made this, and I’d like to shed a little bit of light on that. This was created primarily using mods for Mario Maker 2, as well as a whole lot of editing. I recorded much of the footage myself, but I also utilized clips from other creators, linked below. The Mouse Mode section was recorded using a mouse on PC, and then hand-animated each sprite. I even created the voice for “Ramp Block” by mashing up sound clips from the original game that said “Track Block” and “Mushroom T RAMP oline” just to sell it that much more. It’s not perfect, and there are still many things I would like to do/add, but I created this to bring some joy, spark some ideas and discussion, and mostly because I want to play it myself. Hopefully you found enjoyment in it too. If enough people are interested, I may even make a breakdown video of the work that went into this. Let me know.
