'Ee Panapathram Nirenjukaviyunnu', the inspirational biography of Mr. John Kuriakose, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, DentCare Dental Lab Pvt. Ltd. authored by Chev. Prof. Baby M. Varghese. The book recounts the experiences of John's poor, poverty-stricken childhood with a violent and mentally ill father and how he fought the odds to become a successful entrepreneur, a true believer, a humanitarian, a spirited individual, a loving chief to my employees, and a lot more, all with the good grace of Almighty. Mr. John Kuriakose, the Founder and Managing Director of Dentcare Dental Lab Pvt. Ltd. started a dental lab on his own along with his brothers, in 1988. The 1980s did not see considerable quality in the dental prosthesis in the Indian dental market. The lack of awareness and resources in India made the market open for substandard products. Having started his career as a rubber tapper, then as an attender in a dental clinic, and eventually as a technician at a dental clinic, he experimented on the quality of dental prostheses before starting the lab. John was born as the second child to a very poor family which struggled to make both ends meet. After having completed studies at a school close to his home, to help the family earn a day's bread, he started to work as a rubber tapper. As he worked hard his way through life as a rubber tapper, Christ answered his prayers and he was offered a job as an attender in a dental clinic. He ensured that he puts in the best of his efforts to satiate his employer and more importantly his conscience. He was soon given chance to work closely with his doctor in the clinic as a chair-side assistant. As always, with his keen sense of observation, he quickly grasped even the trivial details of his job.
