Some of the bouldering that got caught on video during my visit to Quantum Field area, Castle Hill Basin, New Zealand, the summer of 2011/2012. The Map and problem numbers refer to Quantum Field in 'The comprehensive Castle Hill Climbing Guide' by Matt Pierson and Alan Davison. Lung dyno, 0:07, with right side start and the less spectacular finish Big Yellow Scoop Problem, 0:25 Orifice Fish, 1:00 Map 25:70, 1:36 The Unrepeatable, 2:00, I didn't expect to get up on this one, so I didn't have the camera out for the actual ascent.. trying to repeat it here. Think Tank, 2:24 Top Heavy, 2:46 Map 25:79, 3:32 The Fin, 3:51 Map 9:10, 4:23 Map 5:3, 4:53, the guide says 'hop to poc' but I didn't see the need to 'hop'. Perhaps I did it wrong? Nice problem anyhow. Map 8:23, 5:06, I do not recommend this problem.. took me several sessions to get up and it's not very nice climbing. Vlad the Impaler, 5:21 Learning Curve, 5:46, did I top out too far to the left? Sweet as, anyhow. Henry Moore, 6:24, must be one of the best easy problems around these parts. Map 30:95, 6:38, not sure we're doing it according to the guide book here.. but then again, who really cares? (-: Beautiful Layback, 7:15, with a somewhat scary top out. Spangle, 8:18, I didn't get my send on video, but here's one of Becky's good tries. The problem is a true gem. I edited out Martin's mooning and V signing :-P
