The HOI4 Learning Experience - Hearts of Iron 4 GIGACHAD CHALLENGE

Whether new or old to the game, there's an experience in HOI4 that can only rarely be captured: the process of knowing very little, and becoming someone that knows maybe just a little bit more, until suddenly a little bit more becomes a whole lot more. Just as the novice cannot see the board how the master does, the master can never see the board how the novice does. If you're interested in seeing the Hearts of Iron 4 world from the perspective of a novice, then you can find all kinds of videos of noobs playing HOI4, but what I present to you today is a video showing what it's like to try and actually crack open the game. I'm no virtuoso, and I'm no genius, nor am I even particularly intelligent, but what I am, is a human. Humans love patterns, and Hearts Of Iron 4 exhibits all kinds of patterns that, if followed, can eventually create a semblance of consistency. In this video, I'll be playing Canada, and bashing my head against the game until I achieve something I'm happy with. Well, at least until I no longer have the will to try. The basic premise of the video is that I'm playing a campaign, taking notes on what went wrong, and then playing the game again, implementing the notes I took previously. That's it. How else can a person learn? Do you think you just magically gain skill and knowledge by losing? Well, okay kind of yes, but you can get that knowledge way faster if you do a little bit of strategizing before each attempt.
