The design language of the compact SUV appears effortlessly elegant and intuitive – like everything executed with great expertise. The implementation and execution, however, reflect the high art and understanding of developing the Volkswagen brand's design DNA over decades, constantly reinterpreting it, and individually adapting it to a wide variety of vehicles and segments. In the case of the ID. CROSS Concept, the three cornerstones of Volkswagen design – "Stability," "Approachability," and "Secret Sauce" – have resulted in a charismatic SUV that is clean, powerful, and stands very stable on its large 21-inch wheels. The front and rear sections, in particular, reflect the positive and appealing aura typical of a Volkswagen. Furthermore, some design elements pay homage to great Volkswagen icons.
