For today's unboxing review we bring you the 2017 BMW 430i coupe. What's a 430i, or a BMW 4 Series for that matter? Simple. It's what the BMW 3 Series coupe used to be. That's right, BMW simply split its benchmark sport sedan and coupe into two separate models, the 3 and 4 Series. Sound familiar? It should, because Audi did the exact same thing years ago with the A4 sedan and A5 coupe. Same cars. Only the number of doors are different. But just because BMW decided to launch the 4 Series doesn't make the 430i coupe a bad car. Quite the contrary. Our tester is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 248 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Impressively, that torque figure kicks in at just 1,450 rpm. BMW also took advantage of the newly christened 4 Series by applying unique styling; it no longer looks exactly like a 3 Series sedan with two less doors. The 430i is sleek and refined, and yet still has a true sporty nature. Rear-wheel-drive comes standard and all-wheel drive is optional for around $2,000 more. We have lots more to talk about in our review. Enjoy!
