“Let the Word Speak” is an Indie Rap worship track grounded in 1 Corinthians 1:17–25, declaring that the power of God is the Gospel itself, not human eloquence or religious performance. Drawing from Luke 11:27–32 and Isaiah 28, 29, and 54, the song confronts spiritual blindness in first-century Jerusalem (Ariel), exposes cherry-picked faith, and proclaims the Cross — though horrific and foolish to unbelief — as God’s revealed power and wisdom. From a full preterist perspective, this song affirms that Christ’s work has spoken, the kingdom has come, and God’s true family is formed by those who hear and keep His Word. Intro (Spoken) Nah — don’t bless the messenger Listen to the message Let the Lord speak Verse 1 They said, “Blessed is the womb that carried You” He said, “Nah — blessed are the ones that do Hear the Word and keep it close That’s the family, that’s the truth” They kept askin’ for a sign Like heaven owed ‘em proof But Nineveh got one word And that word already moved Solomon stood in wisdom Jonah walked in warning tones But One greater’s standing here And they still want stones Hook Let the Word speak Don’t hype the sound Power in the Gospel Not the one around To the saved it’s life To the lost it’s weak Say a big Amen Let the Word speak Verse 2 Paul said, “I didn’t come flexin’ speech No polished flow, no tricks on beats I preached the Cross — they called it dumb But that’s the power they couldn’t reach” A cross was cruel, yeah, ugly scene Rome made sure it hurt obscene So the natural mind steps back Like, “How’s that what God would mean?” But that stone was laid in Zion Some tripped, some stood firm Same Word, different hearts That’s the way it always works Hook Let the Word speak Don’t hype the sound Power in the Gospel Not the one around To the saved it’s life To the lost it’s weak Say a big Amen Let the Word speak Verse 3 Ariel whisperin’ from the dust City shook but still don’t trust Eyes closed tight, ears stopped up Talkin’ faith but hearts on hush They honor God with lips alone But dodge the parts that hit too close Cherry-pick the verses safe Skip the ones that cost the most They asked, “Who sinned?” when they saw the blind Tryna place the blame, draw a line But grace showed up and flipped the script Said, “Watch the works of God unwind” Bridge (Spoken / Half-Time) Kingdom came Not divided Finger of God Strong man tied it No stage lights No disguise Just truth spoken Open eyes Final Hook Let the Word speak Let the Lord decide Power ain’t the messenger It’s the Word applied To the lost it’s madness To the called it’s peace Christ Jesus is the power Yeah, the Cross still speaks Outro They don’t wanna talk ’bout widened tents Or promises that never bent But grace already said its piece We’re family — ‘Cause we listened Amen.
