Once UNIMAGINABLE! Steam returns to old LONDON TERMINI haunts

The purpose of this compilation video is to showcase locomotives and their trains since preservation in their once familiar London termini haunts. I live over 100 miles from London and therefore I’m at a considerable disadvantage to enthusiasts that live in or near to the capital as most steam hauled charter trains leave London early in the morning and return late in the evening. I have included a number of still images, as I did not use a camcorder until the beginning of 2002 in order to show some interesting occurrences such as the excursions from Marylebone where the re-birth of steam to and from London originated. All locomotives train titles and TOCs (if applicable) appearing in this video (both video and still images) are listed below. I have included a few rather impressive diesel drag outs and one drag in (diesel not visible) which also show more of the station architecture and/or surroundings. Many past occurrences and events are unlikely to be repeated. I have therefore included the location and date of the clips inserted to create an illusion (yes a bit of faking) of some of the past activities at certain termini where I did not record the actual events. This locomotive together with 80098 (both since preserved) worked special trains out of Fenchurch St along this line on the weekend of the 2nd/3rd May 1999.
