After Kardia, released in 2015, Mourah is finally back with a new album, Euphony, his third opus which will be released on January 28th. This album was composed and produced a few months before the world was hit by a pandemic that delayed so many projects in the art world. In the meantime, two previous singles, Vagabond and Hashtag Notalways, had given a glimpse of the artistic direction assumed for this new musical adventure. To support the release of the album, a third single, This is the day, is a manifesto for freedom and self-assertion, but also for human nature, which seems to forget that it comes from the nature around it. The latter is so neglected today that it is in danger of collapsing and, as a result, of endangering future generations. Musically, Mourah serves up a pop-soul instrumentation anchored to the earth where his clear voice takes on a higher dimension. A final guitar solo evokes this flight and an individual emancipation, a return to the roots of nature as well. The video is constructed like a dream set somewhere in Brazil. From a station platform used for our daily work obligations, suddenly a journey of colours and emotions takes hold of the character.
