A webinar with Charlie Northcott, Producer, BBC Africa Eye; and Gbolahan Peter Macjob, Multimedia Producer, Presenter and Reporter,BBC World Service. As 2021 comes to a close, we have a really special webinar to end the year. On December 16, join us for an interactive session with theEmmy Awards-nominated investigative journalism team at the BBC World Service’s investigative documentary BBC Africa Eye. From uncovering sex for grades in universities, corruption in governance and illicit drug trade, among other investigations, the team’s intensive and extensive, thorough and incontrovertible approach is a model, I believe, for multimedia investigative journalism. If you wish to have a career in investigative journalism, I highly recommend this session with Charlie Northcott, Producer forBBC Africa Eye, and Gbolahan Peter Macjob, a Multimedia Producer, Presenter and Reporter at the BBC World Service. They’ll be sharing insights and guidance on the various elements of undercover investigations: finding sources, planning production, completing production, legal issues, managing expectations, inspirations, motivations, grey areas, and more. I’m in awe of the numerous undercover investigative journalists on this team and others like them. I look forward to personally learning from them, and I hope you do too.
