It comes in total 12 versions including Flex Fuel and AMT option available in all variants except LXi base model. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is based on Suzuki's Heartect platform which makes it lighter than the previous second generation model. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is powered by a 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 89 Bhp and 113 Nm torque mated to a 5-speed AMT as well as 5-speed manual transmission. This engine features in the ZXi and ZXi+ variants. Second one is the 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder engine is carried forward and offers 66 Bhp and 89 Nm torque mated to 5 speed manual, and an AMT unit and this engine only comes with an CNG option in LXi & VXi variants which produces 55 Bhp with 82 Nm of torque in CNG mode and gets mileage of 34.05 km/kg and the 1.0 litre engine is available in LXi and VXi variant only.
