This year, for King's Day, we decided to travel to where the king and the rest of the royal family would be - Doetinchem, in the east of The Netherlands. Our goal for the day, was to meet the king! Also, eat some tompouce and have a great time! Follow along, as we follow along the "royal walk" and do our best to make sure that the king knows we want him to have a nice birthday. Doetinchem is a charming, small city in the province of Gelderland, and we think they put on a great party! The trip from our home in Amsterdam was well worth it, and Happy King's Day!
