You Will Save (Psalm 91) F.E.A.R is said to be an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. There were many times in my life that I have experienced fear: the fear of failure; the fear of disappointing others; the fear of losing the ones I love. But never has this last fear become such a reality as during this time where we are all locked away in our homes waiting... Some of us are waiting to see if we might get sick; some of us are waiting for the first phone call from family or friends to tell as that they have been infected with the COVID-19 virus; some of us are waiting to see what will happen to this world. And although we feel unprepared for what is to come, the Bible and God's word has been preparing us for every single good and also horrible thing that humanity has faced since the beginning of time. Scripture guides our daily existence and if we have turned away from the way we have been instructed to live life, how can we be surprised if there are countries that wage war; governments that are corrupt or that our planet is dying under our rule? In good times, I turn to God's word to understand His blessings and now, in this time, I have found another promise of His protection in Psalm 91 vs 14-16. In the first part of the Psalm, the writer is speaking, but from vs 14 onwards, the Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me." Kenneth and Karen Woodward CCLI# 7148160
