Fort Benning, Georgia -- The 75th Ranger Regiment conducted the Regimental Change of Command July 12. We said farewell to Col. Brandon Tegtmeier and welcomed Col. Todd Brown. The reviewing officer was Lt. Gen. Fran Beaudette, U.S. Army Special Operations Command Commanding General. Also, participating were the Honorary Colonel of the Regiment, retired Lt. Gen. Prior to the change of command, the Regiment was awarded the Joint Meritorious Unit Award for meritorious service, combat achievement, and unwavering fidelity while executing numerous and diverse missions during Operation Freedom's Sentinel from October 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016.
