Just figured out, if you run everything on MIDI channel 2, program changes aka “PC messages” actually work in AmpliTube 5 as a plugin via Logic X. Still working on my setup… might make another video when I’ve solidified a workflow I’m happy with. Exploring this PC thing… If you find this valuable leave a comment and perhaps I’ll make another video when I’ve fully integrated the 1010 into my setup. I was trying to make a sustain control on the 1010 for my AKAI mini, it’s possible using one of the 1010’s expression pedals, not ideal. Thinking about making one bank for effect controls like the one here, and a bank for program changes (you could almost just save the same preset with the desired changes to a different program change channel and switch that way)… Anyway, If you try this, give me some feedback. Hopefully it works beautifully?! I did exclude a portion about getting into the Logic Pro Environment and also making some changes in the FCB1010's Global Configurations as I felt it more confusing than valuable. I'm happy to help trouble shoot and if I need to make some changes to the video, I'd like to know that. This took me an inordinate amount of time to figure out.
