Welcome to Mathios Luxury Homes located in the world famous Akrotiri on beautiful Santorini Island We’ve created two wonderful Villas, one superior villa and one luxury home for your enjoyment in Akrotiri. In creating these villas, we have stayed true to the architecture and tradition of Greek style. These modern homes were built with materials including Thira stone, white marble, and lava rock. These truly unique homes are on the south side of Santorini, with the famous Venetian Kasteli, which was built in 1335 during the medieval Venetian period, located right behind them. They are also near the Minoan ruins, built in 1450 BC, as well as the unique Caldera Beaches, the Red Beach and the White Beach. They are located mere steps to the main road in Akrotiri which boasts restaurants, a pharmacy, and a local market that sells basic goods. Our newly built homes combine the beauty, peace and tranquility of the quieter side of the island, and yet still enjoy the modern conveniences of staying in one of our brand new luxurious villas. Each villa can accommodate two couples and two children maximum. Each home consists of two bedrooms, which are located on two separate levels, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, one large bathroom, and features a private pool. The second floor balconies offer a truly exceptional view, overlooking the west side of the Caldera cliffs. With your stay in our luxury homes, we offer a full complimentary breakfast brought directly to your home with organic, local products. The pool areas are fully equipped with outdoor patio and pool furniture including sun umbrellas. Each villa has full air conditioning, Internet access, free Wi-Fi, a safe, smart satellite TV, iron and ironing board, and all the bathroom amenities including a hair dryer. Daily cleaning is provided. Mathios Luxury Homes is also able to provide any special menu requests. For example, a fresh local fish platter, or a Greek meat BBQ platter. We also provide a wide variety of local Santorini wines. Any transportation requests, whether local or transfers to Thira, or Oia, or perhaps to a local winery can be arranged for you. Car rentals, ATV’s, mopeds and scooters are also available for hire. If you do not wish to rent a vehicle, we have a full time driver available for hire. Kostas Papalexis, the owner/manager of Mathios Luxury Homes, has been a resident of Santorini for over 30 years, and has his own travel agency and book tours around the island.
