S/V SeaSprite's Big Adventure - 450NM Offshore Passage to Charleston, SC

After 10 glorious days cruising the Abacos in the Northern Bahamas it was time for S/V SeaSprite to begin her trek back to the Bay. When we left Treasure Cay we had hopes of reaching the Cape Fear Inlet at Southport, NC but the forecast had wind shifting from SE to NE on our 4th day out and so we opted for Charleston, SC instead. Covering 450NM in 3 days, 10 hours SeaSprite made remarkably good time. This video is a a departure from my normal, more "artistically" focused approach. There is probably a bit too of me running my mouth and not enough sailing but it was a long trip in some reasonably sporty conditions and thus photography was not my priority.
