Birmingham City picked up another point at home with a 1-1 draw against Stoke City at St. Andrews. On the balance of play a point each was probably the right outcome however Blues will feel that this is a missed opportunity as Stoke had a number of injuries to their first choice starting line-up. Stoke started well and created a number of early chances however Blues came into the game as the first half wore on and went into the break 1-0 up with a goal from Tomoki Iwata. Stoke equalized in the second half with a deflected own goal from a corner from Phil Neumann. The performance added another point to the total with Blues firmly fixed in mid-table.
