How Daredevil Born Again Misunderstands Violence
Matt Murdock/Daredevil has an incredibly complex relationship with his violence. The son of a boxer and a devout catholic with masses of internal rage. Simply a recipe for a great character. The Netflix run of the show delved deep into this aspect through it's presentation of violence through the incredibly choreographed and detailed action. No matter how many times Matt tries to convince himself otherwise, the 2 are inseparable. With Born Again, naturally that element of the character was essential and from the get go the show acknowledges it, however I don't think it understands it as much as the Netflix show did, given the approach to action and Daredevil's brutal nature in the new incarnation of the show.
