In this video, we take you through our 3-day stay in Ubud, Bali, where every moment blended nature, culture, and wellness into an unforgettable experience. We stayed at the serene and stylish Sankara Suites & Villas, nestled just 5 minutes from Ubud’s center — the perfect launchpad for exploring Bali’s cultural heart. 🛬 Day 1: Arrival in Ubud via Kuala Lumpur We took a connecting flight from Jaipur via Kuala Lumpur and arrived in Bali in the afternoon. A scenic 2-hour drive from Denpasar Airport brought us to Sankara Suites — a lush hillside retreat offering spacious rooms, an infinity pool, and rich tropical surroundings. 📍 Distance from Airport to Sankara Suites: ~39 km | ~1.5 hours After checking in to our Spa Suite with a private Jacuzzi, we headed to Radha Spa, right within the resort. It was truly one of the most calming and professional spa experiences we’ve had — warm staff, soothing oils, and complete rejuvenation. 🏯 Day 2: Rice Terraces & Temples We began the morning by visiting the famous Tegallalang Rice Terrace, just 20 minutes from our resort. 📍 Distance from Sankara to Tegallalang: ~11 km | ~20–25 minutes This UNESCO-listed site features scenic, stepped rice fields that perfectly capture Bali’s agricultural beauty. We stopped for lunch at a cliffside café overlooking the terraces — delicious food paired with a stunning view. Next, we made our way to Bali Swing in Gianyar, an iconic spot for adventure and photography. With multiple swing setups — from high jungle swings to couple’s nests — it was pure fun and adrenaline. 📍 Distance from Sankara to Bali Swing Gianyar: ~17 km | ~35 minutes Our final stop of the day was the Tirta Empul Temple in Tampaksiring — one of Bali’s holiest water temples, built in the 10th century. Balinese Hindus and visitors come here to bathe in its sacred springs, believed to cleanse the body and spirit. 📍 Distance from Sankara to Tirta Empul: ~18 km | ~35–40 minutes We wrapped up the day at Nukad Tampaksiring, a peaceful riverside warung hidden in the jungle. The views were dreamy, and the food — fresh and local — was easily one of the best meals we had in Ubud. 🌿 Day 3: Nature & Relaxation Our final day was all about slowing down. We enjoyed a relaxed morning by the infinity pool, followed by a short nature walk around the resort’s tropical garden trail. With birdsong, bamboo groves, and no crowds — it was the perfect wind-down to an eventful trip.
