#Engine #Startup #Antonov Hey! This is legendary Retro Aircraft Antonov-2! The first start up was done after long stay. It was smoky and was not successful at first but in a while it started up very well and performed the flight with skydivers. I like the Antonov-2 and it's radial engine. Even thought it is USSR made airplane but it has the copy of American wright cyclone r-1820 engine that was redesigned by soviets and renamed as Shvetsov ASh-62. It is quite powerful (around 1000hp). Antonov-2 is very unique aircraft and it helped to explore the remote areas of the country. Now Antonov-2 is still in production but not in Ukraine. China bought the license and now producing the Antonov copy called Y-5 that was the first China made civil multipurpose aircraft. It seem like it has the same radial piston engine with 9 cylinders.
