Overall Hua Hin in Thailand is Great city to live in. It ’s a modern city with all facilities that you would expect from a big city back in the US or Europe. Just 3 hours from Bangkok and the International airport. There is a large Ex pat community living in Hua Hin and English is widely spoken. Crime is Low and there is a large presence of Police & Army personnel making Hua Hin a very city. We have the beautiful Pak Nam Pran, Khao Khalok & Dolphin Bay just 25 minutes down Highway 4 and the famous National park. Please check these places out on the Internet and they are easy to find. If you cycle take your bikes as very cycle friendly! The only negatives are the driving & stray dogs but hey I can live with that.
