If you let your modem/router to select bands automatically it will camp on highest frequency which are usually most crowded and you will get lower Internet connection speeds... Best approach is to check different band combinations and select best performing bands in your area In this way you may improve your Internet connection at no cost in no time. The tool works on Windows 10 / 7, MacOS, Linux and even on iOS (haven't tried). It uses HILINK API requests over HTTP to talk to your modem/router (configuration is exchanged in XML format).
