The Toyota Tacoma is all new for 2024, now built on the TNGA-F Global Truck Platform. Toyota keeps the options alive, with the choice of 4x2 or 4x4, 5-foot bed or 6-foot bed, double cab or Xtra cab, 8-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual, and three different versions of the new 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder-based powertrain. There's a standard output iFORCE, high output iFORCE, and hybrid iFORCE MAX (tuned for power more than efficiency). This TRD Sport model is only available as a double cab, with the high output iFORCE that makes 278-hp and 317 lb-ft of torque (270 and 310 respectively in the manual version).
