Historic Fort Adams - Newport Rhode Island

It was a cold day in April when I visited Fort Adams. It had been some 20 years or more since I last explored the historic fort. I found the information contained in the Self-Guided tour booklet and the information signs place within the fort to provide a great amount of detail that really helped understand the fort and how it was used over the years. Most of the information in this video comes directly from those sources Outdoors With John Hi I’m John and I enjoy being outdoors. I am passionate about hiking, biking (road cycling and mountain biking), backpacking, bikepacking, and snowshoeing. I love traveling in our Class C Motorhome and visiting our national parks. I enjoy the natural and historical aspects of the outdoors and often share that on my videos. I also enjoy putting together videos that capture my adventures.
