Hello everyone, in this video I have shown you Dediapada trek with my fellow ONGCians. Dediapada trek is organised by ONGCHA ( Ongc Himalayan Association ) for two days in Gujarat in Narmada District. Dediapada is a small town well covered by the forest of Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary. Dediapada is very popular for waterfalls and lush greenery. Ninai waterfall and Rampam waterfall are major attraction of Dediapada, Monsoon season is the best time to visit here, The journey was flagged off by Asset Manager sir from Ongc Cambay Guest House. A group of 27 ONGCians of diverse age groups participated in the trekking expedition including 02 women participants. Major Attraction - 1. Mandan Lake The lake is situated at a distance of 15 km from Rajpipla, surrounded by beautiful hills. The team walked around 600 metres & reached the lake. Clear sky weather, a winter sunny day and parked boats welcomed the participants. In midst of the mesmerizing lake view, the participants enjoyed the boat ride and explored a small island in the lake. 2. Rampam Waterfall To reach Rampam waterfall, you have to first reach Ghanikhut village by road, then trek in the forest area towards Rampam Waterfall. The trek start with a smooth road lined with brown-green fields, and through some dense forest. Sunset is the best time to spend here. 3. Ninai Waterfall To reach Ninai waterfall first you have to reach saga point then 10km trek in Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary, this forest is the best part of the trek because of lush greenery. The trek involved climbing a steep hill which challenged the physical and mental strength of the trekkers. Ninai falls has a beautiful gushing fall from a height of 80 ft with a small adjacent cave temple. 4. Swachhta Drive Trekkers carried out ‘Swachhta Drive’ to ensure their duty of responsible trekkers and ONGCians. The place was cleaned and maintained by the team. The members collected the discarded plastic and water bottles thrown in the water by earlier trekkers and dumped them in a nearby dustbin.
