Minnie is a successful local businesswoman in Weipa and has spent most of her working life around Aboriginal economic development and employment. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Professional member of the Australian Human Resource Institute. Minnie is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Public Health and has been involved in research projects for the past five years in the Western Cape region on remote menstrual hygiene in Western Cape schools.
