Eric Delaney 2009 UK National drum fair - plus rare interview

This is my video tribute to the late Eric Delaney. He was such an inspiration to many drummers with his showman style entertaining drumming with the Tympani in some of the best big bands in Europe. He is the reason I got started as a drummer and watching him helped with my own drumming ability career since I was 12 over, now 60 years ago. We Filmed this piece at the 2009 Uk National drum fair, one of his last performances live on camera, and I have included the interview with Eric as its rare footage. Thanks to my good friend also who organised the event and allowed us to film the momentous occasion. I hope if you are a drummer, appreciator, or just a listener Eric's playing will inspire you as it did for me. His talent was extra-orindary and he will be sorely missed, Rest in Peace Eric.
